I was one of the first people to read Lost Voyageur In Time. The author included details that were so immersive it felt like I was unwrapping the mysteries alongside Emmaline and her friends. I really enjoyed this book because I could connect with Emmaline and her love of books and I also like to explore and ask questions and solve mysteries. I loved Great-Uncle Alastair! The plot twisted and turned, keeping me guessing until the very end. It was one of the most amazing books I have ever read.

One of the best books I read this year!
The main characters felt real, acting just like teenagers do, and are someone I would like to be friends with. All the vibes, from the town to the mansion to the beautiful library, the author did a good job of bringing them to life, while still allowing my imagination to really engage with the world. The plot twists had me on the edge of my seat and at times screaming out loud. It kept me reading and not wanting to put the book down, but I also didn’t want to rush to the end because I didn’t want the story to stop. I loved the history and the lore in the book. I had so many emotions while reading this book, from surprise to thrill to fear to sadness and joy. I loved the ending, but now I want more.
I can't wait till the next book!

I had the joy of reading this book in it's early stages and was hooked. A mixture of fantasy, mystery and historical references all mixed into one amazing story. This book will suck you in and make you not want to put it down. From beginning to end there are twist and turns and while this is a young adult book, this 46-year-old, cannot wait for the next one!

As someone who overwhelmingly prefers non-fiction—theology, history, missiology, and spiritual formation—I rarely find myself drawn deeply into works of fiction. And yet, Lost Voyageur in Time by G. L. T. Lyons genuinely caught my interest and imagination in a way I did not expect.
This book is wonderfully engaging, creative, and accessible, striking a rare balance between being entertaining for adults while remaining captivating and appropriate for children and young readers. The storyline invites curiosity, adventure, and reflection without feeling simplistic or overly complex. I found myself enjoying the narrative just as much as I imagine a child would—perhaps for different reasons, but with equal delight.
